Summiteers develops by obtaining Fitch accreditations
Summiteers has strengthened its services with the addition of Fitch — an approach to conducting personality surveys.
The organizational consultancy firm from Utrecht serves a diverse range of clients from various sectors. Summaries helps customers define and realize their vision, strategy and associated organizational issues. In its change approach, Summiteers uses the philosophy that a focus on behavior is just as important as content and process. This ensures that results are not only strongly anchored, but also permanent.
Supervision of management strategy days
The consultancy firm is regularly asked to supervise management teams' strategy days. On these days, for example, a growth strategy for the next five years will be determined. In addition to content advice and process guidance, professional team development is a fixed agenda item on these so-called vacation days.
“Previously, Summiteers brought in specialists to use a personality analysis and from now on we have those specialists in-house,” says co-founder Dolf L'Ortye. In March, five Summiteers trained to become accredited Fitch professionals. “This allows us to support our customers even better in their personal development and enable them to achieve their goals. Both individually and as a team.”
The Fitch model: “fit” and “match”
The Fitch model is a personality study and provides an accurate overview of the dynamics of a person's behavior and personal values. Together, this maps out the specific motives. According to L'Ortye, the model is perfect for formulating development opportunities. “This then ties in nicely with the feedforward method that Summiteers uses.”
Using the Fitch model during strategy days is just one of the ways in which Summiteers uses this. “It's also a great tool to start the one-on-one executive coaching programs that we do. It can even be used as a recruitment assessment.”
Summiteers will mainly use Fitch to work with clients to see how their own effectiveness can be increased, to identify (and close) energy leaks. In addition to insight into someone's qualities and vulnerabilities, the model also offers a clear development direction.
“By completing this process simultaneously with an assignment, success is not only achieved in terms of content, but Summiteers also takes its customers a little further in their development,” concludes L'Ortye.
